Welcome to my website. I am Joanna Bourne, a printmaker living in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have been printmaking for the last 30 years or so though not continuously. I began printing in earnest as a member of Charlotte Press in the late 1980s, early 1990s, later becoming a member of Northern Print where I occasionally print and teach. My studio is in my home, and I have recently bought an Albion Press which has enabled me to continue printing - my previous tool being a wooden spoon and elbow grease.
